I have been writing and performing for over 40 years.

The love affair with music began with the piano at the tender age of 4, but it was the acquisition of a 'beaten-up old acoustic guitar' at the age of 11 which instigated my love of songwriting and the desire to sing.

My first live performance at an Italian wine bar in Ealing, West London in 1976 was to be the start of a career performing for crowds with classic rock, pop, reggae, blues, punk and folk covers, gradually building a repertoire of nearly 2,000 songs with a commitment to stay true to the originals.

I hope that the variety of my repertoire is reflected in my own compositions, taking the listener on a musical journey of different moods and styles.
